I just got caught speeding in Houston, TX going 64 in a 55. I was in the middle of slowing down once I saw the officer but I guess he decided to pull me over, even though I was in the middle of slowing down after seeing the speed limit sign. Anyway, the officer issued me a citation but the details are totally the wrong person. The defendent's details states the wrong name, wrong address and wrong DOB (a totally different person living in livingston, TX). The license plate number is correct and the make (Buick) but the year of the car is incorrect; if that matters. I just recently bought this car a couple months ago; the license plate is a Kentucky plate since it was purchised, I'd just like to note that but I believe the registration is in my mother's name since we bought it but I'm not sure. So should I appear? What should I do? The citation is the regular big printed white paper. I just find this funny and need suggestions. Really appreciated in advance.... Read More »
