Resolved Question: Can they make you leave the hospital within 24 hours after the baby is born?

Im 20, and this is my first baby. I've been told that the hospital I have to go to (Memorial Medical Center of Livingston, TX) brings women their release forms to sign 24 hours after the baby is born. Can they make you leave if your not comfortable with only being there for 24 hours? Or do you have the choice to stay and ensure that there are no complications with you or the baby?... Read More »
